ALOHA is seeking an experienced sales and commercial finance professional who demonstrates passion, grit and embraces accountability. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Sales Finance Manager role is a new position within Aloha’s Finance team that has myriad touchpoints into the Commercial departments of the Company. This position will take an integrated approach on decisions affecting net price realization ensuring that we have the right promotional levers and accountability in place to support our broader business objectives. The Sales Finance Manager role will drive efforts in optimizing price, promotion, mix and trade decisions as well as pattern-based learning and benchmarking/KPI analysis. This will be accomplished by designing, executing, and maintaining reporting and analysis related to trade management, channel and customer P&Ls, and more general revenue-accretive activities.

The Sales Finance Manager will manage key customer P&Ls including but not limited to trade promotions, mix management, merchandising waste, rebates and allowances. The role will be a thought-leader in elasticity analysis including developing scenario planning models and digesting key trends internal and external to the Company itself. The Sales Finance Manager will also oversee the design of reports to be used cross-functionally at a variety of levels of the organization, driving transparency, partnering closely with internal teams to take high level strategies deep into channel/customer plans, helping to adapt customer selling strategies in order to make the Company most responsive to the needs of our Retail partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Oversight:
• Work with Retail Sales and Digital Sales leadership to develop pricing and promotional strategy through quantitative analysis. Correlate timely, actionable insights, both short and long-term, to provide recommendations for relevant stakeholders (executive leadership team, brand team, sales teams, etc.) all in the interests of increasing net sales
• Lead the monthly trade planning process and ensure a holistic view on trade decisions
• Improve Profit Analysis tools via either custom Dashboard builds or by working with an off the shelf product
• Analyze and optimize promotional trade dollars at all retailers focusing on ROI metrics and provide insights/suggestions on improvements – continuous improvement mindset
• Engage with Sales teams regularly to ensure trade strategy is being implemented correctly, tracking historical data and performance
• Evaluate base and promoted pricing strategy. Use findings to inform channel and package (product architecture) pricing strategy in proceeding periods
• Provide thoughtful analysis on the competitive landscape in ALOHA’s product category -be a student of the marketplace
• Become power-user of the Company’s forecasting tool (Modus) and leverage similar software as necessary to take insights into actions (Business Value Drivers, Price & Trade Advantage, Post Event Analysis Tool, Trade Planner, etc)

Experience & Key Competencies:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Understanding of GAAP (note: does not need to be Accountant or CPA)
• 3-7 years previous experience working in Sales or Commercial Finance oriented role
• Data Science experience
• Highly proficient in MS Excel
• Excellent attention to detail & accuracy
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize daily tasks
• Willingness to work flexible schedule dependent on monthly financial close deliverables
• Knowledge or familiarity with QuickBooks, Demand Planning Software & Tools, various Financial Reporting Software Solutions
